    It's a good pizza according to my picky picky eater at home! Stopped by to get a few slides but ended up ordered a whole pie! Quick service and delicious pizza! Great for leftovers too! The garlic knots was delicious and we actually often get this pizza for the office! The slices are pretty big too! It's my new place for pizza from now on

    Carlsbad Pizza by the Slice is located in The Island on Van Allen Way, an outside, upscale fast food court. They claim to specialize in East Coast Pizza, Chicken Wings, Calzones, Salads, & Garlic knots, and I can attest to their East Coast Pizza, which I thought was very good.

    I grabbed a quick slice of cheese and meatball here. I like that they have so many types to choose from, and that they quickly pop it into the oven to serve it hot! The pizza is thin crust, cheesy, oily and tasty! I look forward to returning and trying some other toppings.

    I love this pizza place! Every kind of slice I've had has been delicious. This place is always popping off pies. I mean these guys slinging pizza like nobody's business. Always busy! I'm talking STACKS, fat stacks of dough getting rolled out. Always fresh, delicious, thin, perfectly crispy. And now I'm ready for a slice.  I'm originally from the Bronx and so I'm excited to find a spot with amazing pizza for lunch.

    We've had pizza here and it was really good- however last time we ordered garlic knots and wow- so bad I can't believe it. The knots were burnt so bad they were black and soaking in oil. The pizza has been delicious so i don't want to discount this place but I'm so disappointed in the knots. They looked bad and tasted worse. Also, please check the Marinara- it had gone rancid.

    Company name is 'pizza by the slice' but if you want it by the slice in the evening your only option is whatever is left over from lunch. There were 3 options, sitting out for who knows how long and no heat. The cook was not interested in making any more pizza to be served by the slice despite 3 of us there wanting it. They've got some kinks to fix.
